About GravityLab

GravityLab builds systems that empower staff, drive performance and embed change

We have worked with large and small organisations to achieve proven results. We used to consult with companies to design new business processes and then try and hold staff accountable to change, but it wasn’t enough. People can’t just be told what to do. Staff need to be empowered with insights and tools, processes need to be optimised and enforced and ideas need to be embedded as action.

We build intuitive Salesforce systems that build the connections between people, information and action.

Our Team

Daniel

Daniel has always been passionate about people, business and technology. He comes from a background in management consultancy where he worked with top managers of some of NZ’s biggest businesses (AXA, NZ’s Bankers Association, Ministry of Justice ICT). He has managed large IT projects as well as run his own website development shop.

He is passionate about non-profits and making a tangible difference in the world we live in. This led him to live in Africa for two years developing the finance of local and international NGOs.

He brings a depth of knowledge to process design sessions and can turn abstract concepts into a technical reality. Daniel can’t wait to use his analytical prowess and digital business insights to be a force for good in your organisation.

David

David is a technological superstar. He has led top IT and Salesforce projects for over ten years. He has the unique ability to look across the business objectives, see the opportunities in strategy and make complicated technology stacks simple.

He’s worked on large projects for Vend and Harmoney being a leading factor around their speed to market and development efforts. When he’s not on one of his laptops you’ll find him taking his son to rugby or enjoying a cheeky martini.

David is looking forward to helping you navigate the world of technology to choose the right products and back the right approaches.

Yi

Yi is our resident genius. He understands and lives code, architecture and technology. But, it doesn’t stop there he is adept at understanding organisational objectives and holds projects on track to delivering tangible results.

He loves to develop web applications that take data, process it into useful information and then allow users to take action. If you need to turn complex ideas into a tangible reality, he is the man to plan it out and make it happen.

He has worked on large real-time systems that run NZ’s stock market, designed data pipeline’s on California’s Big Data health platform, and developed systems for a Financial Technology start up that processed million’s of dollars per day.

Kate

Kate brings her years of Salesforce experience to offer admin and support. She is a whiz at providing useful guidance and setting up Salesforce just right.

Outside of work she is a family lady with her lovely kids and seems to have a bizarre soft spot for Disney.

Mark

Mark is our engineer and project manager. He is a problem solver at heart and has a keen understanding of logic and delivering on ideas. He’s always looking to excel and improve on every deliverable for our clients.

Before his life of Salesforce he was a touring musician and is a classically trained guitarist. These days you might glimpse him performing jazz or acoustic acts at various venues around the country.

Sebastien

Sebastien is a highly experienced Salesforce functional consultant. He has led teams on million-dollar Salesforce implementations in Europe. He offers a passion for great outcomes and has a great eye for detail, data and process excellence. You will find him a real asset in training your team with a wonderful combination of business understanding, technical knowhow and patience.

He’s a favourite in the office for regularly supplying us with French pastries and baguettes. When Sebastien is not fattening us up he can be found trekking the outdoors or playing squash.
