Christian Savings is one the largest non-bank lenders and deposit takers with over $350 million in assets . They have a rich heritage providing essential funding to churches and ethical investment options for depositors over several decades. As their lending pool grew and the demand for personalised, high-quality engagement increased, it became clear that their existing tools and processes were no longer keeping pace.
Key challenges included:
- Fragmented operations — work was spread across spreadsheets, with no single place to track depositor onboarding or pipeline activity
- Manual enquiry intake — website enquiries landed in a shared inbox, creating risk of missed follow-ups and inconsistent triage
- Sensitive data handling — bank details, AML validations, and other regulated information lacked a secure, auditable home
- Complex relationship management — trust structures and trustee relationships were difficult to represent and manage in basic tools
- Limited visibility — reporting on pipeline activity and team performance required significant manual effort
With ambitions to attract new deposits, improve staff efficiency, and open up new service offerings, Christian Savings needed a platform that could support their growth and set them up for the future.
Solution
GravityLab delivered a Financial Services Cloud-based Salesforce implementation to manage enquiry-to-application pipeline, improve visibility through reporting, and reduce manual handling. The solution captured web enquiries into Salesforce, supported relationship modelling, and introduced structures for verification and lending-related assessment data. Portal capability was included in the requested scope.
This replaced spreadsheet-led processes with a structured, secure, and scalable environment.

CRM & Pipeline Management
Delivered structured Leads and Opportunities pipelines, replacing spreadsheet tracking with clear depositor onboarding and pipeline visibility. Reports and Dashboards were also given to leadership real-time insight into team performance and activity
Enquiry Automation
Integrated website forms directly into the platform eliminating the shared inbox and ensuring consistent enquiry capture and follow-up
Data & Relationship Management
Leveraged a flexible Account and Contact model to support complex structures such as trusts and trustees, with secure file storage and data validation for sensitive information including bank details and AML verifications
Integration
We architected and designed a Finpower integration to match and keep data secure. This allowed actionable insights by the team, automated account creation and the data for the portal.
Customer Portal
Delivered an Experience Cloud portal, enabling depositors to view accounts, request changes, and submit service requests — all within a secure, branded environment

The platform has given Christian Savings a modern, secure foundation to manage depositor relationships and internal operations from a single environment — replacing manual processes with structured, automated workflows and clear visibility across the business.
