Looking to move from NPSP to NPC?

Nonprofits are moving from NPSP to Nonprofit Cloud (NPC) because it’s been rebuilt from the ground up to align with the future of the Salesforce platform. Designed to leverage the latest tools, NPC offers cutting-edge features like AI-driven insights, advanced automation, and real-time analytics—helping nonprofits streamline operations, scale impact, and stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape. Check your readiness in 1,2,3

  1. Survey – to get the wider context and information not in Salesforce
  2. Salesforce assessment – much of this is automated and driven by AI scripts. However, we do look to put expert eyes over key areas to validate the level of complexity, check integrations etc.
  3. Workshop – a free workshop to understand the where, what, why you want to migrate.

This is more than a technical migration, we want to set you up for maximum success over the coming years so you can deliver the best impact, grow and reduce risk and your cost base.

Readiness assessment tool

You need to understand how your current Salesforce setup works and which features you are using. From this, you can create a reliable migration plan. This tool is designed to understand your org data to inform the migration strategy.

The NPSP to NPC Migration tool covers:

  1. Fundraising metrics – looking at which opportunity records are used and what type of opportunities are trending over time
  2. Custom additions – custom objects, validation rules, flows/workflows
  3. Field and object usage – which are used and how often, guidance on which NPC fields/objects they migrate to
  4. File usage and which records

This tool is safe to use in a full-copy sandbox or Production. It includes:
  • Results Page – with a LWC wizard
  • Report to show the results
  • Apex Code to analyse the objects/record
  • Apex Test Classes
  • Object to store findings
  • It will not modify or create any records apart from it’s own results

It can be easily uninstalled with no impact after being run.

What’s different in NPC

Built on core Salesforce

Nonprofit Cloud is built on Salesforce’s core platform by the core Salesforce team, rather than a standalone nonprofit solution. It leverages features from other industries, meaning nonprofits benefit from the same innovations used by universities, banks, and high-tech companies—rather than relying solely on nonprofit-specific development. For you, this means more features now and even more features in the future

Futureproof Data Engine

NPC introduces new data engines that provide greater insights and opportunities. It allows nonprofits to understand and use data faster, leading to quicker decision-making and more effective actions.

Productivity optimised

With a redesigned user experience, new tools, and improved views, NPC enhances efficiency and productivity. These updates make it easier to manage daily operations, track progress, and boost overall nonprofit impact.

Some of our favourite features include:

  • More scalable and robust fundraising architecture
  • Bigger data processing tools powered by the latest technology
  • Workflows designed for charities, including programmes, high-touch fundraising, mass marketing, and admin tasks
  • Outcome measurement—because this is why nonprofits exist, and real-time impact reporting is massively important
  • Awesome features like donor profiles, kick-ass segmentation views, more flexible relationship mapping, and action/task templates
  • Expected essentials such as tags and source codes
  • Built for the future with AI models, forecasting, donor scoring, enhanced visualisation, integration tools, generative AI, and portal templates
