A role you will really love

We are looking for another epic Project Manager to contribute to our growing team. This position can be adapted around your strengths and passions, and will include:

  • Resourcing and planning – manage new projects and work into the team, help balance workloads and see when your squad needs more work or more support.
  • Client wooing – Communication and facilitating great outcomes for both sides. Let’s really try and help them achieve wonderful outcomes.
  • Project updates – it’s a simple thing, but it’s a success factor of our projects, keeping clients abreast of developments, what’s waiting on them and key milestones on a regular basis.
  • Mentor and train the team – some of your squad have great client and planning skills and can handle running the projects but they all need oversight and QA.
  • People management – you will be the line manager to your squad so you have responsibility to plan out their work/leave/priorities etc. Managing a highly engaged team and helping to motivate and understand them, advocating for their development.
  • Improving our processes as we always strive to be better.
  • Improving our clients processes – this might mean mapping out some of their end to end processes, interviewing key experts in their team to understand their requirmenets and writing up requirements for the architects/developers – if you don’t have BA skills please still apply as we are looking for the right person – not just who fits this description.

Planner – you like to think ahead and plan to the known time horizon. You think in terms of key milestones and what needs to happen in between and enjoy spotting and unblocking dependencies for a seamless project.

Motivator – you understand life and business are all about people. You have a positive energy and enjoy motivating people and getting them excited about why they are doing this work and how their actions make a tangible difference.

Business process – Being someone who is process orientated, you are easily finding better ways of working, with an eagerness to implement tangible change. You listen to all of the needs and are keen to develop and embrace healthy feedback.

Problem Solver – You are fast-thinking, analytical and web-savvy, with an aptitude for technology.  You don’t stop when you hit a roadblock, you know when to think through it and know when to ask for help.

Empathy – Whether you’re an introvert or an extrovert, you have a big heart for people. You know how to communicate with simplicity, love helping others and seeing them thrive.  

Technology Experience – It is critical that you have worked on technology and transformation projects. There is a bit to learn about the project lifecycle and how we gather requirements and resources etc. 

Self-starter Doer – you probably love checklists and feel at home ticking off tasks. You’ll find things to do and be proactive. But, above all, if you say you will get it done, you get it done.
