About the role

The mission of the Senior Sales Lead is to generate new business for GravityLab in Australia and New Zealand through developing and maintaining relationships with the vendor and generating & nurturing client leads, for professional consulting services and the implementation of Salesforce.

You will be working closely with our CEO and our Head of Customer Strategy to convert leads into profitable business opportunities and drive growth in Australia and NZ. Our preference is someone Sydney based, but we are open to other locations.

Although this is a remote role we will require you to regularly meet with Sydney clients and Salesforce Account Executives in person and travel to Auckland a minimum of twice a year for team days.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and implement effective business development strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
  • Identify & actively pursue new opportunities, engage and qualify new clients
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, tracking progress, maintaining the CRM and forecasting sales results
  • Build and maintain successful, mutually beneficial relationships with Salesforce Account Executives
  • Collaborate with the CEO & Head of Customer Strategy, while driving sales and business development plans

  •  You have a proven record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • You are experienced in software, managed services or consulting sales with exceptional verbal and written communication skills, able to connect with professionalism and clarity.  This combined with your trustworthiness and excitement helps you excel at building relationships, enabling you to gain access to and effectively influence decision-makers at the highest levels.  
  • You thrive on finding new prospects and winning business and you are a highly collaborative team player, energetic and supportive of others
  • You are experienced at developing sales plans, outbound lead generation strategies and identifying and engaging with prospective customers 
  • You are an autonomous go-getter, ready for challenges, with the drive to get things done. You’re resilient, never give up and push through when faced with challenges.  You get a buzz out of helping clients and hitting targets that you know are making a positive difference.
  • Nice to have – Salesforce experience & certifications, or demonstrated aptitude and willingness to learn new technologies
